Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act, hereby transfers from Communication Canada to the Privy Council Office control and supervision of those portions of the public service in Communication Canada known as
Regional Operations Branch, except that portion known as Outreach,
Analysis and Information Management, forming part of the Research Branch,
the Information Services, forming part of the Communications Services Branch, with the exception of the Electronic Media Monitoring Service, and
the Communications Support Group, forming part of the Communications Branch,
effective April 1, 2004.
