His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) a of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act b, transfers to the Public Health Agency of Canada, effective June 30, 2012, the control and supervision of the portions of the federal public administration in the Department of Health known as the International Affairs Directorate and the Emergency Preparedness and Response Unit.
