His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) a of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act b, transfers to the Minister of Health S.C. 2003, c. 22, s. 207 R.S., c. P-34
effective October 7, 2013,
all of the powers, duties and functions of the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food under the Canadian Food Inspection Agency Act c, except the powers, duties or functions conferred on the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food under subsection 4(2) of that Act that do not relate to food safety, S.C. 1997, c. 6
all of the powers, duties and functions of the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food relating to food safety under any Act of Parliament, and
the control and supervision of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency; and
effective on the day on which the Safe Food for Canadians Act d comes into force under s. 111 of that Act, all of the powers, duties and functions of the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food relating to food safety under that Act. S.C. 2012, c. 24
