His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister,
authorizes Canadians to accept and wear the Arctic Star in recognition of honourable service during the Second World War; and
directs that the Arctic Star follow the Air Crew Europe Star in the order of precedence in the Canadian Honours System.
