Provision

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 8 of the Canadian Energy Regulator Act a and pursuant to paragraph (c.1) b of the definition appropriate Minister in section 2 of the Financial Administration Act c,

a)

designates the Minister of Natural Resources, a member of the Queen’s Privy Council for Canada, as the Minister for the purposes of the Canadian Energy Regulator Act a; and

b)

designates the Minister of Natural Resources as the appropriate Minister with respect to the Canadian Energy Regulator for the purposes of the Financial Administration Act c.
