Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, under paragraph 2(a) a of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act b, transfers S.C. 2003, c. 22, s. 207 R.S., c. P-34
effective April 30, 2026, from the Department of Citizenship and Immigration to the Department of Public Works and Government Services, the control and supervision of the portions of the federal public administration known as
the Functional HR Support and Release Coordination unit, and
the Technical HR Development, Configuration and Platform and Administrators unit;
effective April 30, 2026, from the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development to the Department of Public Works and Government Services, the control and supervision of the portions of the federal public administration known as
the HR Systems Unit, and
the Human Resources Management System (HRMS) – Development and Operations Unit;
effective May 7, 2026, from the Correctional Service of Canada to the Department of Public Works and Government Services, the control and supervision of the portion of the federal public administration known as the Human Resources Management System (HRMS) – IT Application Services;
effective May 21, 2026, from the Department of Employment and Social Development to the Department of Public Works and Government Services, the control and supervision of the portions of the federal public administration known as
the Functional HR Level 2 Support and Release Coordination unit,
the Functional HR Project Configuration and Development unit,
the Technical Director’s Office,
the Technical HR Development and Configuration unit, and
the Technical HR Platform and Administrators unit; and
effective June 18, 2026, from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police to the Department of Public Works and Government Services, the control and supervision of the portions of the federal public administration known as
the HR Systems Operations – Level 2 unit, and
the Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) unit.
