Whereas the Governor General in Council is of the opinion that the cost of the use of government parking facilities provided to the public should be borne by the persons using those facilities.
Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Works and the Treasury Board, pursuant to section 13 of the Financial Administration Act, is pleased hereby to authorize the Minister of Public Works to prescribe, by order, the parking fees, based on the prevailing market rates, to be paid by the persons using the government parking facilities provided to the public.
