Whereas the Governor in Council is of the opinion that the cost of providing a service in respect of a request for an advance income tax ruling should be borne by the person to whom it is provided.
Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Revenue and the Treasury Board, pursuant to paragraph 19(b) of the Financial Administration Act, is pleased hereby
to revoke Order in Council P.C. 1983-653 of March 3, 1983*; and SI/83-62, 1983 Canada Gazette Part II, p. 1168
to authorize the Minister of National Revenue to prescribe, by order, the fee to be paid by a person to whom a service is provided in respect of a request for an advance income tax ruling.
