His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 2(a) of the Public Service Rearrangement and Transfer of Duties Act, is pleased hereby to transfer to the Minister of National Health and Welfare the powers, duties and functions of the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food under the Pest Control Products Act and the Pesticide Residue Compensation Act, effective April 1, 1995.
