Provision

His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport and the Treasury Board, pursuant to subsection 2(2) of the Airport Transfer (Miscellaneous Matters) Act a, hereby designates S.C. 1992, c. 5

(a)

the Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc. as a designated airport authority; and

(b)

the day immediately following the closing date as defined in the Agreement to Transfer entered into under the authority of Order in Council P.C. 1996-1387 of August 28, 1996, as the transfer date for the Winnipeg International Airport to the Winnipeg Airports Authority Inc.
