Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 115 of the Customs Tariff a, hereby makes the annexed Fenner Dunlop (Bracebridge) Inc. Remission Order. S.C. 1997, c. 36
Remission
Subject to section 2, remission is hereby granted of the customs duties paid or payable under the Customs Tariff on certain woven fabrics of tariff item No. 5906.99.22, imported into Canada by Fenner Dunlop (Bracebridge) Inc. during the period commencing on January 14, 1999 and ending on May 19, 2004.
Conditions
The remission is granted on condition that
the woven fabrics were or will be used in the manufacture of conveyor belts by Fenner Dunlop (Bracebridge) Inc.;
a claim for remission is made to the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness within twelve months after the date on which this Order comes into force;
the importer provides the Canada Border Services Agency with any evidence or information that demonstrates that the importer is entitled to remission under this Order; and
no claim for refund or drawback under the Customs Act or the Customs Tariff has been made with respect to the goods on which remission is claimed.
Coming into Force
This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
