His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 978 a of the Bank Act b, section 463 c of the Cooperative Credit Associations Act d and section 531 e of the Trust and Loan Companies Act f, hereby makes the annexed Prescribed Products Regulations. Prescribed Products
For the purposes of sections 385.131 and 385.241 of the Cooperative Credit Associations Act and sections 434.1 and 442.1 of the Trust and Loan Companies Act, the following products are prescribed:
deposit type instruments as defined in the Deposit Type Instruments Regulations; and
principal protected notes as defined in the Principal Protected Notes Regulations.
Coming into Force
These Regulations come into force on November 1, 2011.
