Face protectors for ice hockey and box lacrosse players must meet the requirements of standard CAN3-Z262.2-M78, entitled Face Protectors for Ice Hockey and Box Lacrosse Players, published by the Canadian Standards Association in English in December 1978 and in French in June 1979.
