Requirements
A residential detector set out in column 1 of the table to this section must comply with the standard set out in column 2, without regard to any other standard to which it refers. A component of a residential fire alarm system set out in column 1 of the table to this section must comply with the standard set out in column 2, without regard to any other standard to which it refers. The information required under these Regulations to be provided on the label of a residential detector or in instructions intended for consumers must appear in English and in French.
