Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 115 a of the Customs Tariff b, makes the annexed CPTPP Remission Order. S.C. 2005, c. 38, par. 145(2)(j) S.C. 1997, c. 36

s. 1 — Remission

Remission is granted of the customs duties paid or payable under the Customs Tariff in respect of goods classified under tariff item No. 4011.90.90 in the List of Tariff Provisions set out in the schedule to the Customs Tariff for which the CPTPT treatment is claimed and that were imported during the period commencing on December 30, 2018 and ending on the coming into force of this Order.

s. 2 — Condition

The remission is granted on the condition that the importer makes a claim for remission to the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness within two years after the date of importation.

s. 3 — Coming into force

This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
