Provision

The Minister of Industry, pursuant to subsections 13(2) and (3) of the College of Patent Agents and Trademark Agents Act a, makes the annexed Order Fixing the Number of Directors Under the College of Patent Agents and Trademark Agents Act. S.C. 2018, c. 27, s. 247; 2014, c. 20, s. 366

Board of Directors

s. 1 — Number of directors

For the purposes of subsection 13(2) of the College of Patent Agents and Trademark Agents Act, the number of directors is fixed at nine.

s. 2 — Directors to be appointed

The number of directors that are to be appointed to the Board under subsection 13(3) of the College of Patent Agents and Trademark Agents Act is fixed at five.

Coming into Force

This Order comes into force on the day on which section 13 of the College of Patent Agents and Trademark Agents Act comes into force, but if it is registered after that day, it comes into force on the day on which it is registered.[Note: Order in force June 28, 2021, see SI/2021-30.]
