Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, makes the annexed CTMA Ranger Remission Order under section 115 a of the Customs Tariff b. S.C. 2005, c. 38, par. 145(2)(j) S.C. 1997, c. 36
Remission is granted to Gestion C.T.M.A. Inc., of Cap-aux-Meules, Quebec, in an amount equal to the difference between the customs duty paid or payable under the Customs Tariff at the General Tariff and those that would have been payable if the vessel CTMA Ranger that was imported in 2022 had been entitled to the Most-Favoured-Nation Tariff.
Remission is granted on the following conditions:
the importer files any evidence that may be required by the Canada Border Services Agency to determine eligibility for remission; and
the importer makes a claim for remission to the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness within two years after the day on which this Order comes into force.
This Order comes into force on the day on which it is registered.
