His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minsiter of Energy, Mines and Resources, pursuant to subsection 45(6) of the Canadian Ownership and Control Determination Act*, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Order respecting persons declared to have a special status. Short Title
This Order may be cited as the Special Status Order, 1983.
The following persons are declared to have a special status within the meaning of subsection 45(6) of the Canadian Ownership and Control Determination Act: Alberta Energy Company Ltd.
