His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Employment and Immigration and the Minister of Finance, pursuant to section 48.1* of the Unemployment Insurance Act, is pleased hereby to make the annexed Order fixing the rate of premium that persons employed in insurable employment are required to pay for the year 1996. Short Title
This Order may be cited as the Unemployment Insurance Rate of Premium, 1996, Order.
Rate of Premium
The rate of premium that persons employed in insurable employment are required to pay for the year 1996 is 2.95 per cent of insurable earnings in that year.
