His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, pursuant to subsection 10(1) of the Canada Petroleum Resources Act a, hereby makes the annexed Order Prohibiting the Issuance of Interests at Lapierre House Historic Site in the Yukon Territory. R.S., c. 36 (2nd Supp.)
Purpose
The purpose of this Order is to prohibit the issuance of interests on certain frontier lands because they are designated as a Historic Site.
Prohibition
No interests may be issued in respect of the frontier lands described in the schedule.
Coming into Force
This Order comes into force on March 19, 1998.
The whole of Lot numbered 1004, Quad 116P/06, in the Yukon Territory, as said lot is shown on a plan of survey of record number 79766 in the Canada Lands Surveys Records at Ottawa, a copy of which is filed in the Land Titles Office for the Yukon Territory Land Registration District at Whitehorse under number 97-106.
