The Skeena-Queen Charlotte Regional District is granted the additional power, as an extended service, to construct a network of emergency helicopter pads and, once constructed, turn the helipads over to local groups to own, operate and maintain.
The Skeena-Queen Charlotte Regional District is granted the additional power to provide Emergency Programs as an extended service under the Emergency Program Act.
In this section, Act means the Local Government Act.
This section applies in respect of the financial plans to be adopted by the Skeena-Queen Charlotte Regional District under section 815 of the Act for each of the 2010 to 2014 calendar years.
Section 815 (11) of the Act does not apply in relation to any deficiency, as described in that provision, that resulted before 2010 in respect of the Islands Solid Waste Management Service.
