— Definition
In this regulation, Act means the Hydro and Power Authority Act.
s. 2
— Purposes of authority
s. 2(1)
For the purposes of section 12 (1.1) (c) [other purposes of authority] of the Act, to promote the use of electricity is prescribed as a purpose of the authority.
s. 2(2)
For certainty, the purpose set out under subsection (1) includes promotion for the purpose of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
