— Definitions
In this regulation:
s. 1
— Act
Act means the Ministry of Energy and Mines Act;
s. 1
— minister
minister means the minister responsible for the administration of the Mines Act.
s. 2
— Minister is authorized
The minister, with respect to the breach of the tailings storage facility at Mount Polley Mine on August 4, 2014, being a matter arising under the Mines Act, is authorized to do everything referred to in section 8 (2) and (3) (a) of the Act.
