In this regulation:
Act means the Utilities Commission Act;
facilities means the following facilities located near Fort St. John:
the 9-27-79-17W6 Saturn Compressor Station;
the 04-26-79-17W6M Sunrise Sweet Gas Plant;
QCS means QCS ECA 0927 Development Ltd. and its successors and assigns.
QCS is exempt from Part 3 of the Act in respect of
the construction and operation of a transmission system from the authority’s transmission system to the facilities, and
the provision of service respecting the transmission of electricity from the authority’s transmission system to the facilities.
Despite subsection (1), QCS is not exempt from section 42 of the Act in relation to orders of the commission respecting safety issued to QCS under section 23, 25 or 49 of the Act.
