265_98 — Builders Lien Public Bodies Holdback Account Exemption Regulation

s. 1 — Designated public bodies

The following public bodies are designated for the purposes of section 5 (8) (a) of the Builders Lien Act:

s. 1(a)

a municipality;

s. 1(b)

a regional district;

s. 1(c)

an improvement district as defined under the Municipal Act;

s. 1(d)

a greater board as defined in section 872 of the Municipal Act;

s. 1(e)

the trust council under the Islands Trust Act;

s. 1(f)

the trust fund board under the Islands Trust Act;

s. 1(g)

a board of school trustees under the School Act;

s. 1(h)

a francophone education authority under the School Act;

s. 1(i)

a hospital under Part 1 of the Hospital Act;

s. 1(j)

a regional hospital district under the Hospital District Act;

s. 1(k)

a university under the University Act;

s. 1(l)

the University of Northern British Columbia;

s. 1(m)

Royal Roads University;

s. 1(n)

an institution under the College and Institute Act;

s. 1(o)

the British Columbia Institute of Technology;

s. 1(p)

the Open Learning Agency under the Open Learning Agency Act;

s. 1(q)

the Technical University of British Columbia under the Technical University of British Columbia Act;

s. 1(r)

a board or council as defined in the Health Authorities Act;

s. 1(s)

the Okanagan Basin Water Board;

s. 1(t)

the Okanagan-Kootenay Sterile Insect Release Board;

s. 1(u)

Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation;

s. 1(v)

the Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority.
