35_2006 — Southern Interior Development Initiative Trust Regions Regulation

s. 1 — Definitions

In this regulation:

s. 1 — Act

Act means the Southern Interior Development Initiative Trust Act;

s. 1 — electoral area

electoral area has the same meaning as in the Local Government Act.

s. 2 — Regions defined

For the purposes of the Act:

s. 2 — Columbia-Kootenay region

Columbia-Kootenay region means that area of British Columbia comprising the following:

s. 2(a)

the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary;

s. 2(b)

the Regional District of Central Kootenay;

s. 2(c)

in the Columbia-Shuswap Regional District, electoral areas A and B, the City of Revelstoke and the Town of Golden;

s. 2 — Thompson-Okanagan region

Thompson-Okanagan region means that area of British Columbia comprising the following:

s. 2(a)

in the Thompson-Nicola Regional District, electoral areas A, B, J, L, M, N, O and P, the City of Kamloops, the City of Merritt and the Village of Chase;

s. 2(b)

in the Fraser Valley Regional District, electoral areas A and B and the District of Hope;

s. 2(c)

the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen;

s. 2(d)

the Regional District of Central Okanagan;

s. 2(e)

the Regional District of North Okanagan;

s. 2(f)

in the Columbia Shuswap Regional District, electoral areas C, D, E and F, the City of Salmon Arm and the District of Sicamous.
