s. 1 — Direction of seizure — prescribed information

For the purposes of section 32 (4) [seizure by bailiff] of the Act, the following information is prescribed to be included in a direction of seizure:

s. 1(a)

the name of the bailiff;

s. 1(b)

the name of the lien holder;

s. 1(c)

the name of the person who took possession of the goods from the lien holder;

s. 1(d)

the date on which the lien holder signed the direction of seizure;

s. 1(e)

the location of the goods, if known by the lien holder.

s. 2 — Bailee's undertaking — prescribed information

s. 2(1)

In this section, base registration has the same meaning as in the Personal Property Security Regulation.

s. 2(2)

For the purposes of section 34 (1) (c) [bailiff may appoint bailee], the following information is prescribed to be included in the undertaking:

s. 2(2)(a)

the name of the bailiff;

s. 2(2)(b)

the name of the person who is to be designated as the bailee;

s. 2(2)(c)

the date on which the person who is to be designated as the bailee signs the undertaking;

s. 2(2)(d)

a description of the goods to be held by the person who is to be designated as the bailee;

s. 2(2)(e)

the address of the location, or, if no address is available, a description of the location where the person who is to be designated as the bailee will hold the goods;

s. 2(2)(f)

the base registration number in relation to the lien.
