— Application of this regulation
This regulation applies to the Minister of State for Local Governments and Rural Communities for the 2024/2025 fiscal year.
s. 2
— Definition
In this regulation, Act means the Balanced Budget and Ministerial Accountability Act.
s. 3
— Minister of State for Local Governments and Rural Communities
The expected results that the Minister of State for Local Governments and Rural Communities is to achieve for the purposes of section 5 (3) of the Act are as follows:
s. 3(a)
work closely with the Union of British Columbia Municipalities as it prepares for executive committee engagements, quarterly meetings, advocacy days and its annual convention;
s. 3(b)
hold meetings with representatives of rural and remote communities, regional districts, municipalities and First Nations, in order to understand their opportunities, needs and challenges;
