Judgment and order reversed on the ground that the verdict is excessive, and new trial granted, with costs to appellant to abide event, unless the plaintiff stipulates to reduce the verdict to $1,500, in which case the judgment is modified and as so modified judgment and order affirmed, with costs.

All concurred, except Smith, P. J., and Betts, J., who voted for affirmance without modification.
