Smith v. Bank of Orleans

The judgment of the supreme court in this case was reversed in December, 1845, but upon points raised by the pleadings, and not appearing upon the bill of exceptions, so that the decis-ion in 3 Hill, 561 et seq. has still the force of a precedent.
