    Proceedings and applications under subsection (1) shall be dealt with in all respects as if the purchaser were the vendor and any amounts found, on the conclusion of the proceedings, to be payable under subsection 81.16(1), 81.18(1) or 81.38(1) shall be paid to the purchaser and not to the vendor.
