    The Chief Electoral Officer shall include in the agreement conditions regarding the use and protection of personal information given under the agreement.

    The Chief Electoral Officer may, for the purpose of ensuring the protection of personal information given under an agreement mentioned in subsection (1), include in the agreement any conditions that the Chief Electoral Officer considers appropriate regarding the use that may be made of that information.
