    If at any time a parent or group of parents referred to in section 212.3 acquires control of a CRIC and the CRIC was not controlled by a non-resident corporationperson, or a group of non-resident persons not dealing with each other at arm’s length, immediately before that time, no amount is to be included under subsection (1) in computing the income of the CRIC in respect of a pertinent loan or indebtedness (as defined in subsection 212.3(11)) for the period that begins at that time and ends on the day that is 180 days after that time.
