    in the case where no disposition was in force in respect of the accused immediately before the coming into force of the disposition appealed from, any order for the interim release or detention of the accused that is in force immediately prior to the coming into force of the disposition appealed from continues in force, subject to the making of a disposition under paragraph (2)(c), pending the determination of the appeal; and
