A person who makes a charitable donation of food or items relating to personal hygiene to persons in the Province is not liable for damages arising as a result of injury or death caused by the nature, age, condition or handling of the food or items relating to personal hygiene unless the injury or death occurred as a direct result of an act or omission of the person who makes the charitable donation that constitutes gross negligence with respect to the health or safety of other persons. 1992, c.C-2.002, s.1
A director, officer, agent, employee or volunteer of a non-profit organization that makes a charitable donation of food or items relating to personal hygiene to persons in the Province is not liable for damages arising as a result of injury or death caused by the nature, age, condition or handling of the food or items relating to personal hygiene unless the injury or death occurred as a direct result of an act or omission of the director, officer, agent, employee or volunteer of a non-profit organization that constitutes gross negligence with respect to the health or safety of other persons. 1992, c.C-2.002, s.2
