The following entities are prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 3 of subsection 8 (3) of the Act:
A not-for-profit corporation incorporated or continued under the Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010 or a predecessor of that Act.
A not-for-profit corporation incorporated or continued by or under a special Act of the Legislature.
A not-for-profit corporation incorporated or continued under the laws of another province or a territory of Canada that is operating or carrying on business in Ontario.
A not-for-profit corporation incorporated or continued under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act or a predecessor of that Act that is operating or carrying on business in Ontario.
A not-for-profit corporation incorporated or continued under a special Act of the Parliament of Canada that is operating or carrying on business in Ontario.
A registered charity as defined in subsection 248 (1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada).
An Indigenous governing body that is a council, government or other entity that is authorized to act on behalf of a First Nation, Inuit, Métis or other Indigenous group, community or people that holds rights recognized and affirmed by section 35 of the Constitution Act, 1982.
Any entity, other than a governing body mentioned in paragraph 7, that serves the interests of or provides services to First Nation, Inuit, Métis or other Indigenous peoples.
A Local Services Board established under Part I of the Northern Services Boards Act.
An entity described in any of paragraphs 1 to 9, together with another one or more of those entities.
The council of any one municipality, together with one or more of the entities described in paragraphs 1 to 9.
The following entities are prescribed for the purposes of subsection 8 (4) of the Act:
An entity described in any of paragraphs 1 to 9 of section 1.
An entity described in any of paragraphs 1 to 9 of section 1, together with another one or more of those entities.
