The Ontario School Boards’ Insurance Exchange is designated as a public sector reciprocal insurance exchange for the purposes of subsection 392.0.1 (1) of the Act.
The Minister of Education is the responsible Minister for the Ontario School Boards’ Insurance Exchange.
(1) The financial statements of the Ontario School Boards’ Insurance Exchange shall be included in the consolidated financial statements of the Province of Ontario as set out in the Public Accounts.
No later than April 30 in each year after 2025, the Ontario School Boards’ Insurance Exchange shall provide its financial statements for the previous year to the responsible Minister.
The head office of the Ontario School Boards’ Insurance Exchange, and of each of its members, shall be located in and operated out of Ontario.
Each member of the Ontario School Boards’ Insurance Exchange shall be a board or board organization within the meaning of the Education Act.
