— Meaning of landlord, exclusions
Despite subsection 1 (2) of the Act, a person is not a landlord for the purposes of the Act in respect of the following premises:
s. 1(1)
Premises providing homelessness prevention and support services, including emergency shelter providers and providers of health and social services.
s. 1(2)
A retirement home, as defined in subsection 2 (1) of the Retirement Homes Act, 2010.
s. 1(3)
A long-term care home, as defined in subsection 2 (1) of the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021.
