— Interpretation
In this Regulation,
s. 1
— local transit system
“local transit system” has the same meaning as in the Metrolinx Act, 2006; (“réseau local de transport en commun”)
s. 1
— special constable employer
“special constable employer” has the same meaning as in the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019. (“employeur de constables spéciaux”)
s. 2
— Definition of “officer” in the Act
The following provincial offences officers are prescribed for the purposes of the definition of “officer” in the Act if their employer is a special constable employer:
s. 2(1)
Special constables employed by Metrolinx.
s. 2(2)
Special constables employed by the operator of a local transit system.
