s. 1
(1) The fee for a commission appointing a licensee under the Law Society Act as a notary public is $145. ;
s. 1(2)
The fee for a commission appointing a person other than a licensee under the Law Society Act as a notary public is $110. ;
s. 1(3)
The fee for a commission reappointing a person other than a licensee under the Law Society Act as a notary public is $75. ;
s. 2
Section 1 does not apply to a commission appointing as a notary public for Ontario a person who is an employee of,
s. 2(a)
the Government of Canada;
s. 2(b)
the Government of Ontario;
s. 2(c)
a municipality in Ontario; or
s. 2(d)
the band of a First Nation in Ontario. ;
s. 3
A 10-year period is prescribed for the purposes of subsections 5 (1) and (2) of the Act.
