s. 1

The Council of each municipality listed in the Schedule is authorized to pass a by-law,

s. 1(a)

exempting any or all proposed official plan amendments from its approval under section 17 of the Act; and

s. 1(b)

exempting a proposed official plan amendment from its approval under section 17 of the Act.

s. 2

(1) The Council of the County of Grey is authorized to pass a by-law,

s. 2(1)(a)

exempting any or all proposed official plan amendments of the City of Owen Sound from the Council’s approval under section 17 of the Act; and

s. 2(1)(b)

exempting a proposed official plan amendment of the City of Owen Sound from the Council’s approval under section 17 of the Act.

s. 2(2)

The authorization is subject to the following conditions:

s. 2(2)(1)

The City of Owen Sound shall provide a copy of the proposed official plan amendment to the Minister during consultation under clause 17 (15) (a) of the Act.

s. 2(2)(2)

A copy of the adopted plan shall be forwarded to the Minister at the same time that notice is given under clause 17 (23) (a) of the Act.

s. 2(3)

The authorization is not terminated because the City of Owen Sound does not meet a condition set out in subsection (2).

s. 3

(1) The Council of the County of Dufferin is authorized to pass a by-law,

s. 3(1)(a)

exempting any or all proposed official plan amendments of a municipality mentioned in subsection (2) from the Council’s approval under section 17 of the Act; and

s. 3(1)(b)

exempting a proposed official plan amendment of a municipality mentioned in subsection (2) from the Council’s approval under section 17 of the Act.

s. 3(2)

The by-law may be passed in respect of one or both of the following municipalities:

s. 3(2)(1)

Town of Mono.

s. 3(2)(2)

Town of Orangeville.

s. 3(3)

The authorization is subject to the following conditions:

s. 3(3)(1)

The municipality in respect of which the by-law is passed shall provide a copy of the proposed official plan amendment to the Minister during consultation under clause 17 (15) (a) of the Act.

s. 3(3)(2)

A copy of the adopted plan shall be forwarded to the Minister at the same time that notice is given under clause 17 (23) (a) of the Act.

s. 3(4)

The authorization is not terminated because the municipality in respect of which the by-law is passed does not meet a condition set out in subsection (3).

s. 4

(1) The Council of the County of Northumberland is authorized to pass a by-law,

s. 4(1)(a)

exempting any or all proposed official plan amendments of a municipality mentioned in subsection (2) from the Council’s approval under section 17 of the Act; and

s. 4(1)(b)

exempting a proposed official plan amendment of a municipality mentioned in subsection (2) from the Council’s approval under section 17 of the Act.

s. 4(2)

The by-law may be passed in respect of one or more of the following municipalities:

s. 4(2)(1)

Town of Cobourg.

s. 4(2)(2)

Municipality of Port Hope.

s. 4(2)(3)

Municipality of Trent Hills.

s. 4(3)

The authorization is subject to the following conditions:

s. 4(3)(1)

The municipality in respect of which the by-law is passed shall provide a copy of the proposed official plan amendment to the Minister during consultation under clause 17 (15) (a) of the Act.

s. 4(3)(2)

A copy of the adopted plan shall be forwarded to the Minister at the same time that notice is given under clause 17 (23) (a) of the Act.

s. 4(4)

The authorization is not terminated because the municipality in respect of which the by-law is passed does not meet a condition set out in subsection (3).

s. 5

(1) The Council of the County of Lennox and Addington is authorized to pass a by-law,

s. 5(1)(a)

exempting any or all proposed official plan amendments of a municipality mentioned in subsection (2) from the Council’s approval under section 17 of the Act; and

s. 5(1)(b)

exempting a proposed official plan amendment of a municipality mentioned in subsection (2) from the Council’s approval under section 17 of the Act.

s. 5(2)

The by-law may be passed in respect of one or both of the following municipalities:

s. 5(2)(1)

Town of Greater Napanee.

s. 5(2)(2)

Loyalist Township.

s. 5(3)

The authorization is subject to the following conditions:

s. 5(3)(1)

The municipality in respect of which the by-law is passed shall provide a copy of the proposed official plan amendment to the Minister during consultation under clause 17 (15) (a) of the Act.

s. 5(3)(2)

A copy of the adopted plan shall be forwarded to the Minister at the same time that notice is given under clause 17 (23) (a) of the Act.

s. 5(4)

The authorization is not terminated because the municipality in respect of which the by-law is passed does not meet a condition set out in subsection (3).
