Preamble

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

Section 1 — FEDERAL EMPLOYEES CONTRACTING OR TRADING WITH INDIANS

(a) Repeal.--Section 437 of title 18, United States Code, is repealed. (b) Conforming Amendment.--The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 23 of title 18, United States Code, is amended by striking the item relating to section 437. (c) Effective Date.--The repeal made by subsection (a) shall-- (1) take effect on the date of enactment of this Act; and (2) apply with respect to any contract obtained, and any purchase or sale occurring, on or after the date of enactment of this Act.
