Provision
— Preamble
WHEREAS the importance of providing more public education and awareness on organ donation across Canada is recognized;
AND WHEREAS it is desirable to encourage all Canadians to pledge to organ donation;
NOW, THEREFORE, Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and House of Commons of Canada, enacts as follows:

This Act may be cited as the National Organ Donor Week Act.

Throughout Canada, in each and every year, the last full week of April shall be known under the name of "National Organ Donor Week".
