Provision

Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, effective August 12, 2021,

(a)

pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition “department” in subsection 2(1) of the Public Service Employment Act a, designates the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario as a department for the purposes of that Act; and S.C. 2003, c. 22, ss. 12 and 13

(b)

pursuant to paragraph (b) of the definition “deputy head” in subsection 2(1) of the Public Service Employment Act a, designates the President of the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario as the deputy head of that Agency for the purposes of that Act.
