    Laws of general application in relation to trusts and trustees in force in the province in which the purchaser resided or carried on business when the purchaser became bankrupt apply to the trust, and in the event of any inconsistency or conflict between this section and the provisions of any of those laws, the provisions of those laws prevail to the extent of the inconsistency or conflict.
