    Where at any time in a year a particular trust described in paragraph 204.4(2)(a) or 204.4(2)(b) has substantially the same beneficiaries and can reasonably be regarded as being a continuation of another trust that was a registered investment in the year or the immediately preceding year, for the purposes of this Part, the particular trust shall be deemed to be the same trust as the other trust.
