    There may be deducted in computing a taxpayer’s income for a taxation year the amount, if any, that the taxpayer would be entitled to deduct under subsection (1) if the definition eligible relocation in subsection 248(1) were read without reference to subparagraph (a)(i) of that definition and if the word “both” in paragraph (b)(c) of that definition were read as “either or both”.
